Meet the Funder – Sport Wales
Sport Wales is the National organisation responsible for developing and promoting sport and physical activity in Wales.
Sport Wales – Be Active Wales Fund offers grants from £300 to £50,000 for projects in Wales that intend to do at least one of the following:
- reduce inequality – i.e., reaching people who are less typically involved in sport, such as people with disabilities, from social-economic areas/backgrounds, BAME, LGBTQ, women and girls, and Welsh speakers
- create long-term sustainability – e.g., improving facilities, coaching and training courses, expanding to include more people
- introduce new or different ways of operating – e.g., new initiatives such as online sessions, or different types of training equipment.
It is a rolling grants programme with no deadlines.
